1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application "Zachem Ya" (hereinafter — the "App"), developed by Vladislav Pak (hereinafter — the "Developer"), collects, uses, and protects personal data of its users.

By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. Data We Collect

The App may collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: email address, name (upon registration)
• Usage data: responses to self-exploration exercises, notes, module completion results
• AI Coach data: text messages sent to the AI assistant during coaching sessions
• Subscription data: subscription status information (processed through Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat)
• Technical data: device type, operating system version, app installation identifier

3. How We Use Data

Collected data is used to:

• Provide the core functionality of the App (modules, AI coach)
• Personalize the user experience
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Improve the quality of the App and fix bugs
• Provide technical support

4. AI Coach and Data Processing

Messages you send to the AI coach are transmitted to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC (the Claude model), to generate responses; transmission is protected via TLS. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, the data sent is not used to train models. Anthropic may temporarily retain data in accordance with its retention policy (including to prevent misuse).

The AI coach is not a substitute for professional psychological or medical assistance.

5. Data Storage and Protection

User data is stored on secure servers using encryption. We implement technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of data.

Data is stored as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion (Settings → Account → Delete Account), all personal data is deleted instantly and permanently from the primary database. Anonymized technical logs (error reports) may be retained for up to 90 days in monitoring systems.

6. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with the following categories of recipients:

• Infrastructure providers: Supabase, Inc. (USA) — database and authentication; Railway Corp. (USA) — server hosting
• AI provider: Anthropic, PBC (USA) — AI coach requests (Claude model)
• Payment systems: Google Play, Apple App Store, RevenueCat (subscription processing)
• Analytics: Sentry (error reports), PostHog (anonymized usage events)

7. User Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction or deletion of data
• Withdraw consent to data processing
• Request data export in a machine-readable format
• Delete your account and all associated data (Settings → Account → Delete Account)

7a. AI-Powered Features

When you use AI features (AI coach, goal suggestions, strategy recommendations, barrier analysis), your request text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC (the Claude model), for processing; transmission is protected via TLS. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, the text is not used to train models. Anthropic may temporarily retain data in accordance with its retention policy (including to prevent misuse).

We do not use your data for AI model training.

7b. Your Rights (EU/EEA/UK — GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the right to:

• Access your data (right of access)
• Correct inaccurate data (right to rectification)
• Delete your data (right to erasure) — Settings → Account → Delete Account
• Export your data (right to data portability)
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

Legal Basis for Data Processing

• Core app functionality (account, goals, logs, strategies): performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• AI features (coach, goal suggestions): your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by ceasing to use AI features.
• Analytics and app improvement: legitimate interest of the developer (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) based on anonymized data.
• Subscription processing: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States of America (Supabase, Railway, and Anthropic servers). We ensure appropriate data protection during international transfers in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 13. If you believe that a person under 13 has provided us with their data, please contact us for its deletion.

In European Union and European Economic Area countries where the age of digital consent exceeds 13 (up to 16 under Art. 8 GDPR), use of the App by individuals below the established threshold requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
